Weekend Off

The boys had a long weekend off of school. It was so nice to get to have them at home. We had a picnic at the park on Thursday.

Tyler's Birthday was Friday so we went to lunch at peter piper! The kids sure love it there.

After lunch we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house for swimming and playing. Marne and the kids joined us. It was a good long weekend.

Happy Birthday Tyler

My little guy is already 8 years old. Time just flies. Next week he will be baptised. Its just Crazy! It is exciting to be doing all this cool stuff for him. He gets to go to Cubs now! He is very excited. Travis has been in cubs awhile so he has been around it and always wanting to do it. We love our lego, star wars, reading, building, & dressing up loving big guy!!! He is a very expressive boy!

Castle

The boys school had their carnival over the weekend. They need cakes so we pulled out the castle cake pan and went to town decorating it. The boys loved decorating it. We tried to win it back, but it was gone when we got there! We will just have to make another one for Tyler's birthday this weekend.

Clone

Tyler wants me to show off his cool Clone Mask he made. He is getting into the Halloween spirit. My Tyler loves to make costumes.

One more

I can't resist posting this one. Lucy is always sleeping in the weirdest places. This one is too funny to pass on....

Creepy Crawly Critters

Last week I was talking at night(should have just went to bed, but as I confessed earlier I love to talk). We had already had the lights out for a while and I had to use the bathroom. I had a feeling turn on the light (that always a warning when you have that feeling). So I turned on the light and when I was going back to bed I was just out of the bathroom in our bedroom when I stepped on something. Never a good feeling to step on something that moves. I felt a little poke, but nothing that hurt. Well I jump and looked down sure enough I saw something crawl away. It looked like a scorpion, but that couldn't be right we have lived here for 9 years and never seen one inside the house. We had only seen one outside years ago. Well I yelled at Travis who had fallen asleep. He jumped up and help me move the tv (where the thing had crawl to hide). He saw it and I was right it was a Scorpion!!! I got him a shoe and that was the end of it. That thing blends in too well with our carpet. I hope to never come in to contact with another one(that was the first time I seen one close that wasn't dead), but we do live in AZ.

Box Car Children

Tyler decided to take our extra boxes and make a race car out of it. The rest of the kids wanted to join in the fun. It is amazing how much fun a box can be.
Gracie's box was a little hard to walk in! Maybe if she had both shoes on she would do better.Let the Race begin...
