Good things are happening

Tyler had his first Pack Meeting where he received something. Here he is with the cubmaster his Dad. It is so much fun for him. This is my sister Candice and her fiance Sean. He is getting batized on Saturday and they are getting married at the end of this month. I get to do the food for the reception. I am excited and nervous. That is a lot that I can mess up. We are excited to get another family member. He is a super nice guy.

Let it Snow

Tyler told me I had to blog this and title it "let it snow" This one is for you Tyler. He was making a snow man in the snow! Lucy is styling in her MC Hammer pants. I am so cheap I bought her 3 sizes bigger so they will last longer!! She was our little marshmellow girl.
We went on a walk and on the way back Lucy was tired. She told me I am going to take a rest and would fall on the ground and lay there!!

Gracie is our other pink marshmellow girl. She also has to big for her clothes!
The pond had 2 inches of ice on the top. Hunter figured out you could break the ice with his boots and then throw the ice . It was cool to watch it brake and roll across the ice top.

Snow is so pretty. I am glad I don't have to deal with it. I don't like the cold that much.

Gracie didn't like her snow pants at first she was so mad. My Dad picked her and tried to calm her down. She is trying to hit me in the picture.

My kids had so much fun. I didn't get a picture of the snow man. They sure didn't want to come back home.

Busy Times

I was able to go with Hunter to the farm for his school field trip. I love hanging out with this cute little guy. He is not afraid of anything. Too bad the Farmers Head is in the way. Hunter was feeding the horse a carrot.

Gracie joined me and Hunt at the farm.

Her favorite animal was the bunnies. She was petting them forever.
She is checking out the animals. They have lots of different animals donated to them.

Hunter and his best friend!

This weekend Travis and I went to our wards Youth Conference. It was awesome. The youth are great. This is the view from where we stayed. Beautiful and only 20 minutes from my house.

Happy Birthday Gracie

This is my Gracie a year ago! She sure has grown. She was the funniest girl back then. She had to suck on her binkie with the loop tucked under her nose. If you pulled it out she'd push it back under her nose.

Now she is our cute little 2 year old! We love you Gracie. Happy Birthday to you, Gracie! She loved everyone singing to her.
Time to blow out the candles.

"I'll help Gracie" Hunter and Lucy were the ones to blow them out this year. Frosting licking time!

To Grandmothers House We Go

My parents needed someone to go pick up the travel trailer at the cabin. They thought we would like to do that for them and as an added bonus they would watch the kids. We were all for that. Who would take free babysitting for the weekend!

We arrived up at the cabin to be greeted by a special sign on the kitchen table. My Grandmother made this sign specially for me. I am the only one to have been honored by my own sign up there.

We had just missed fall up there. The aspen trees were already bare. It is so beautiful up there.

This is the only heating source up there. It was 40 degrees when we arrived at night. This is what it was before we left. Needless to say I slept in 3 layers of clothing!! I am pushing for a bigger stove.
We had fun! It is so nice to have a weekend away from it all. Thanks Mom and Dad!!!

Scout O Rama

We went to Scout O Rama on Saturday. It was hot, but fun! Tyler got to help at the stake booth making marshmellow shooters. After that we walked around and got to see all the other cool things. Tyler liked the Scout Wars booth. He made a darth vader puppet.
That is Hunter!! Not the best picture. These kids move too fast to the next thing.

Soap carving

Hunter got to play while Tyler was helping.

The girls were just hanging out in the shade with Mom! It was 94 degrees. Can you say HOT!

I love the boots!!

Another one of Hunter playing. He almost didn't do the rope bridge. He was proud of himself when he finished.

Halloween

This is our Halloween. It started with trunk or treat the weekend before and ended Halloween night. This kids had a blast and now are hyper with too much sugar in them.

Our little Cinderella

Sleeping beauty! She wouldn't wear the crown we made her oh well!

Luke Skywalker

Han Solo

Tyler didn't want to pose for this picture. He wanted to go off with his friends.
My princessesThis is Tyler at his Halloween party at school. I got to go and help which was fun.
Hunter in his parade of costumes.
Lucy got to wear two costumes this year. Didn't want to get her other one dirty so she was Tinkerbell for her joy school party!! She didn't want to change to be Sleeping beauty after being Tinkerbell.
